Tassibee has been successful in obtaining funding from the Big Lottery Fund in order to develop the services we provide to people over the age of 50 living in Rotherham.
The Tassibee Advocacy Community Services was official launch at our EID Festival on 11th July this year. We have started supporting individuals via our drop in, advocacy sessions and Tassibee Wellbeing Programme.
Tassibee was successful in gaining 5 years grant from Tutor Trust to help toward the upkeep of the Tassibee Centre.
Tassibee has been successful in obtaining 3 years funding £1,000 per year towards the costs of the wellbeing sessions for excluded women in the Rotherham Community.
Tassibee were successful in obtaining funding from the Celebrate Fund. Tassibee organised the Celebrating Diversity Event at Boston Castle, to bring together and celebrate the different communities and cultures within Rotherham. See our Article Tassibee Celebrates Diversity in Rotherham
Tasssibee have used the funding to set up a Tassibee Sewing Group. We have purchased 5 new sewing machines and materials so the group can continue to make quilts for the Project Linus UK. See our Article Making a difference through Quilting
