The latest news about Tasibeh Girls school.
Tassibee has continued to support Tasibeh Girls school since the start of the project in 2007.
Fundraising has asssisted the growth and continuation of the school. The local community has supported these events with special thanks to Sitwell school.
The school provides basic education for girls who are currently not attending school because there are no state school places available in their areas and their families are too poor to pay private school fees.
“This school will give the girls and women the opportunity to gain skills and knowledge which will help them long term to further their careers.
The money and resources supplied are greatly appreciated and make a huge difference to both pupils and teachers here.”

The latest in events and fundraisers
On friday 11TH March there was a International womens day fundraiser at wortley hall organised by Linda Cavin MEP, Jill Liddington who was the guest speaker, this year she chose to raise money for Tasibeh Girls School. Khalida joined this fundraising event and told the people how the school came about, what it is doing to help the children that attend Tasibeh and how people can help support the School.
Khalida and her husband visited the girls school in January 2010 and whilst they were out there they managed to take some pictures from a school trip which shows the children looking happy and excited. A fundraising evening will be held on Monday 29th March at the Holiday Inn, Rotherham to raise funds so that the school can continue to provide the education and trips for the girls in the area.
The pictures above show the girls at their school with their teachers. They look so happy and excited. All this would not be possible without the support of people in our communities your money really does make a difference. We still have other classrooms we would like to set up within the school and be able to provide more outings, so please keep making your donations however small they are they make change happen for these girls in Pakistan.
