Thanks to funding from South Yorkshire’s Community Foundation, Tassibee Centre will be running a series of IT workshops over the coming months to help you make the most of using your laptop, mobiles and tablets.
We will be starting on 22nd January with a 8 weeks course for IT for Absolute Beginners, 9:30 – 11am for Women and 12 – 1:30pm for Men.
If you have never used a computer before or get to scared when you see one this is the course for you.
These sessions will take a fun approach to help you overcome any fears you may have. We will start from turning the computer on; using keyboard and mouse; using desktop and icons; opening programmes and understanding what is in front of you.
The group will be able to work at their own pace and feel free to ask questions; try out basic games to improve mouse control. We will also look at the basics of working a tablet and mobile phone.
We will then be running classes for Beginners in June and classes for Intermediate level in September. More information to follow.
Places will be limited, so if you are interested in joining any of these sessions, please contact Kathy and book your place now. Call Kathy on 01709 377750.
Please share this information with anyone you know who may be interested.
